OPPORTUNITY & COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

The Business Development Associate identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers. They will also assist in the development of a strong pipeline of new customers and projects in accounts through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting while working with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.

This position is best suited to a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing with 0-1 years of experience and will be fully trained in the scope of the business as well as ideal outreach and closing  methodology. However, all majors are encouraged to apply as critical thinking skills and the ability to  empathize with clients are the ideal skills. The candidate will work under general supervision while exhibiting a degree of creativity and lateral thinking in order to achieve best results.

As part of our dynamic, highly motivated development team, you will focus on delivering value rich, consultative sales presentations through outbound warm/cold phone calls and prospecting to target businesses to identify potential new business opportunities.

The purpose of the Business Development Associate’s position is to generate and maintain customer relationships that result in new revenue for the company. The ideal candidate is an aggressive hunter who is independent and highly self-motivated to sell cost recovery and consulting services. The  incumbent is responsible for identifying and securing new client engagements through extensive lead sourcing and direct sales phone and FedEx campaigns on a weekly basis. The Business Development  Associate is a key member of the Dryden Team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and qualify prospective clients and gather information utilizing Hoovers, LinkedIn and other proven methods as well as networking 
  • Lead direct mail campaigns via Federal Express letters & email blitzes to prospective clients to set appointments 
  • Work with CRM system on a daily basis keeping all information current 
  • Managing his/her individual pipeline to close leads generated by marketing and prospecting activities 
  • Writing and developing professional proposal content
